I'M DONE BEING OVERLOOKED

Risk-free. Attend the first three days. If it's not worth it, get every cent back.

Does This Sound Familiar?

You're good at what you do. Everyone says so. So why does it keep happening?

Your ideas are ignored until someone else repeats them. You make a suggestion in a meeting. Silence. A few minutes later, a colleague says practically the same thing, and suddenly everyone is listening.
You're trusted with the problems but overlooked for the opportunities.

When something goes wrong, you're the person everyone calls. But when a leadership position opens, your name rarely comes up.

Your performance is exceptional. Your rewards don't reflect it.

Your review praises your contribution, but your pay rise, bonus or recognition tells a very different story.

Every year, you're told you're almost ready.

You've heard "not quite ready" so many times that you're beginning to wonder what more you must prove.

Every year, you're told you're almost ready.

You've heard "not quite ready" so many times that you're beginning to wonder what more you must prove.

You can't seem to get it right.

When you stay quiet, you're told to speak up. When you speak confidently, you're called too aggressive or too outspoken.

You're doing the work of the next level without getting the recognition of the next level.

You train new colleagues, take on extra responsibilities, fix problems and keep things running. Yet your career remains in the same place.

You've done what you were told. You worked harder. You got the extra qualification. You said yes to more.

And you still find yourself asking: what more do I have to do?

Here's the honest answer. Probably not more. Something different.

You're Not the Problem. You're Missing the Rules.

Let's be clear about something. You are not broken, and this is not another programme telling you to fix yourself.

Careers don't move on hard work alone. They move through a system: who knows your work, how your value is described, who says your name when you're not in the room, and when and how you ask.

Most women were never shown how that system works. They were told to work hard and wait to be noticed.

30%

WOMEN HOLD JUST 30% of MANAGERIAL POSITIONS WORLDWIDE.

That means 7 out of every 10 managerial positions are held by men.

International Labour Organization, 2025

Some of that is structural, and it isn't your job to carry it alone. But the system has rules, and rules can be learned. Once you can see them, you stop guessing and start choosing.

That's what the next five days are about: seeing the system, then learning to work it, without becoming someone you're not.

"Why Is a Man Running This?"

Fair question. You should ask it.

I'm not here to tell you what it feels like to be a woman at work. You know that far better than I ever will.

What I can tell you is what happens on the other side of the table.

For nearly two decades, I've worked with CEOs and senior leaders, the people who decide who gets the next role. I've sat in the rooms where talent is discussed and names are put forward, or quietly passed over. I've heard how capable women get described when they're not there to answer:

"She's not quite ready."
"She needs to be more strategic."
"She's excellent, but… not sure she can handle it."

Most of those women never knew those conversations happened.

I've also seen the other side. Over the years, I've coached many women through my executive and MBA programmes who went on to step into senior roles. What changed for them was rarely their talent. It was how they made their value visible, how they used their voice, and who they had behind them.

That's what this challenge gives you: what I've seen from that side of the table, so your work walks into those rooms before you do, and you walk in ready.

Your Five Days

Each day builds on the one before. First you see what's keeping you stuck. Then you make your value visible, get your voice heard and get the right people behind you. Finally, you build a plan that makes the change last.

  1. DAY 1Monday 23 November

Find Out What's Really Keeping You Stuck

The habits that helped you get noticed early in your career are often the same ones holding you back now. Today you'll find out which ones are yours.

    • How capable women get stuck, and where you are right now
    • Why we hold on to habits even when we know they're not working
    • The 12 habits that most often hold talented women back
    • The perfection trap: why waiting until everything is flawless keeps you invisible
    • Ruminating: how replaying every mistake drains the energy you need to move forward
You'll leave with: your personal 12-Habits Assessment, and the one habit you'll work on first.
  2. DAY 2Tuesday 24 November

    Make Your Value Visible

Now that you know your patterns, we start with the one that costs women the most: hoping great work will speak for itself.

    • Claiming your achievements without feeling like you're bragging
    • Expecting others to notice and reward you: why waiting quietly leaves your career in other people's hands
    • Overvaluing expertise: why being the best at your current job isn't the same as being ready for the next one
You'll leave with: a Wins File template, so your next review writes itself, and your own 3-sentence impact statement.
  3. DAY 3Wednesday 25 November

    Speak So the Room Listens

Your value is clear now. Today is about how you put it across in meetings, in emails and in the moment.

    • The disease to please: how saying yes to everyone weakens your influence
    • Minimising: the small words, apologies and hesitations that make you sound less sure than you are
    • Too much: when too many words, too much detail or too much emotion buries your point
    • Disagreeing without being labelled "difficult," and what to say when someone takes credit for your idea
You'll leave with: word-for-word scripts for the moments that matter most.
  4. DAY 4Thursday 26 November

Get Your Name Into the Right Rooms

You're visible and you're heard. Now you make sure the right people are saying your name when you're not in the room.

    • Building rather than leveraging relationships: making your network work for your goals, not just everyone else's
    • Failing to enlist allies from day one: why waiting to ask for support costs you
    • Putting your job before your career: loyalty to your role vs. ownership of your future
    • Mentors vs. sponsors, and how to get both
You'll leave with: your Sponsor Map, showing who decides, who influences and who already knows your work, plus a script for the "here's what I want next" conversation.
  5. DAY 5Friday 27 November

    Turn Your Breakthrough into Action

Most people know what to change. Few manage to make it last. Today you build the plan that does.

    • Letting your radar distract you: turning your awareness of everyone and everything into focus on what matters for you
    • Start with one thing: why changing one habit beats trying to fix everything at once
    • Don't do it alone: choosing the people who'll notice your progress and keep you honest
    • Let go of judgement: changing without beating yourself up along the way
    • Remember what got you here: keeping the strengths that brought you this far while you let go of what no longer serves you
You'll leave with: your 30-Day Professional Breakthrough Plan, built around your one habit, your allies and your milestones, plus your promotion-conversation script.

Is This for You?

This is for you if:

  • You have years of experience and a proven track record, yet your career progression hasn't reflected the value you bring.
  • You're ready for management or senior leadership, but you struggle to get decision-makers to see you as the obvious choice.
  • You consistently deliver results, take on additional responsibilities and go beyond expectations, yet your title, pay or influence remain unchanged.
  • You're tired of being told to "speak up", "be more visible" or "show more leadership" without anyone explaining how to do it effectively.
  • You're ready to stop leaving your professional advancement to chance and take intentional steps to communicate your value, strengthen your influence and position yourself for the next level.

This is not for you if:

  • You expect someone to guarantee you a promotion or a new leadership position in just five days.
  • You're looking for temporary motivation rather than practical strategies you are willing to put into action.
  • You believe your organisation should recognise your value without you taking an active role in communicating it and positioning yourself.
